And The Iceman is now set to compete in the 2026 UK Open Championship.

The Welsh thrower has experience as he previously played at last year’s Mosconi Cup, competing in an exhibition Pro-Am event at Alexandra Palace but he will now step onto a greater stage.

The five-day championship event will take place at the Brentwood Centre starting from May 25.

Price and Goldstein join a total of 256 players, including 128 professionals from more than 50 countries.

The UK Open has been promoted as a “truly open format” as amateur entrants have also been announced.

The event also features a junior competition, which will include players as young as seven.

The event comes with a lucrative prize fund that stands at an impressive £167,500.

This is not the first time Price switches sports as he did the same in 2014 when he left .
