GERWYN PRICE heads to the O2 Arena with a positive doctor’s note in his pocket – and teased a career change further down the line.
The , 41, had some health issues to contend with during the gruelling Premier League season.

The medical details are not something he has yet to disclose publicly but he told SunSport he had some good news in the build-up to his appearance in Thursday’s semi-finals against .
Price, a father of two, said: “I am playing some of the best darts I have ever played.
“My mindset is in the right place. Had some good news today as well, which was nice. I’m looking good for the finals.
“I’ve had some results back off tests that I had, which were just checking on my health.
“They came back clear and I am all happy. It puts things at ease. That little doubt in your head.
“I still haven’t got the answers to a few things but at least the results have come back positive.”
Price Pool in Brentwood at short notice to focus on the £350,000 darts cheque but he will play the sport at some point.
The Iceman said: “Yeah, I’ll do it, if the timing is right. If I feel mentally and physically good.
“It’s a bit of fun, nothing too serious. I’ll turn up, enjoy a game of pool and see how it goes.
“I’m half decent. I would turn up 100%. It was a pity I couldn’t play.”
