AN arrest warrant has been issued for Gervonta Davis, Miami police have said.

The professional boxer, nicknamed “Tank”, has seen the warrant for his arrest issued after an alleged domestic violence incident.

Davis is accused of grabbing a woman and dragging her to a parking garage at a gentlemen’s club in on October 27.

say the victim was Davis’ ex, with the two having dated for five months in 2022, but broke up about a month before the incident.

Miami Gardens Police held a press conference on Wednesday to announce the move.

They want to arrest and charge Davis with battery, false imprisonment and attempted kidnapping when he is located.

Police added they were working with the fugitive task force to locate him.

Davis, 31, was previously arrested for allegedly assaulting a different ex-girlfriend in Doral on in 2025.

Investigators said Davis and the victim had been in a relationship for four years and shared two children.

The victim told police how the two had started arguing before the confrontation escalated, alleging Davis hit her in the back of the head and then slapped her in the face.

Police said there was visible bruising on her left arm when she reported the incident.

Charges were later dropped after the victim and her mother stopped cooperating with investigators.

In 2020 Davis turned himself in after a video appeared to show him grabbing the mother of his child from her seat during a charity game.

In 2023 he was charged with battery after being accused of slapping a woman, though prosecutors dropped the case when the alleged victim said she did not wish to proceed.

The Baltimore Banner reported Davis later told Inside Boxing Live he planned to retire at the end of last year.

He is said to have explained how he wanted to be “softer and more humble” for his two daughters.

Davis has a boxing record of 31 fights, 30 wins – 28 by KO – and one draw.

The American has won titles at both lightweight and super featherweight categories and is the current WBA lightweight title holder.
