GEN Z adults have sex less often than their parents and even their grandparents currently do, a poll says.
Brits aged between 18 and 26 an average 36 times a year — equivalent to just 0.7 times a week.
For — aged from 44 to 60 and typically the parents of — it was 62 times a year, or 1.2 times a week.
And for , aged 61 to 79 — often grandparents — the figure was 47 times a year, or 0.9 times a week.
Researchers put the younger generation’s apparent “sex crisis” down to so many of them still living with parents.
Meanwhile randy — aged between 27 and 43 — often have their own places.
They typically have sex 73 times a year, or 1.4 times a week.
Will, a 22-year-old , moaned: “Most people my age can’t afford to rent or buy, so it’s hard to find anywhere for a bit of peace and quiet.
“My parents both moved out when they were 18 or 19, and my grandparents around the same ages, so they had the freedom to do what they liked.
“It’s just not the same with our generation — which is pretty unfair really.”
The survey, which was carried out for erotic gift firm Lovehoney, found that taking all ages into account, the average Brit has sex around 57 times a year, or just under 1.1 times a week.
A spokeswoman said: “Gen Z faces a sex crisis.
“They are often embarrassed to have sex when their parents are in the house.”
