GAVIN & STACEY legends Ruth Jones and James Corden have been spotted recording a new TV sitcom together.
The duo, reunited in Sussex this week – and appeared delighted to be sharing the camera again.

Ruth and James are, The Choir.
Written by the duo, The Choir is an eight part comedy-drama.
But fans of Smithy and Nessa’s on-screen romance in Gavin & Stacey might be disappointed, as the actors are this time playing siblings rather than love interests.
Filming this week, the pair were snapped walking along the beach in coats – laughing with one another in between takes.

In September last year, The Sun revealed that Ruth and James had signed the multi-million pound deal with Apple for the new series.
And while little is still known about the project, Ruth did tease more about the storyline earlier this year.
“It’s about a choir and we both… James’s mum is in a community choir, my sister’s in a choir. And we both feel that choirs, like amateur choirs especially, bring people together in a way that maybe nothing else does,” Ruth said in January.
She continued: “You’ve got people, you’ve got the joy of music, you don’t have to understand with songs, you could be in another language, but you get moved by the music.
“And there was just this idea of being able to bring a group of characters together from different backgrounds, all sorts of different things going on in their lives but that once a week rehearsal when they’re all there and they get to sing a really gorgeous song we just thought would be quite lovely.”
James added: “Yeah, and to really just try and make a show about community and the importance of community, the importance people who meet that.”
Gavin & Stacey began in 2007 and ran until 2010, as well as a 2019 Christmas special.
In 2024, it then– with James and Ruth’s characters getting married in the finale.
Since then, fans have been begging for more from the writers.
