GARY NEVILLE was applauded by former England captain Michael Vaughan as he showed off his cricket skills.
The legend proved he was handy with a bat as he demonstrated some serious technique.

The Man Utd legend left ex-England captain Michael Vaughan impressed
is best known for his time at Old Trafford, where he made 602 appearances under .
The 85-time England right-back won eight Premier League titles, three FA Cups and two Champions Leagues with United.
But things could have turned out differently had he taken up a career in cricket.
As a youngster,
His father was a former league cricketer, and Neville starred for Lancashire’s U14s before eventually taking up football.
However, the ace showed he’s still got what it takes at the stump as he joined ex-England captain Vaughan on the Stick to Cricket podcast.
The pair played together as schoolboys at the Bunbury Cricket Festival.
And Neville left Vaughan impressed as he demonstrated some serious techniques.
After Neville hit a ‘Baz Ball’-esque shot, Vaughan declared: “That’ll do, he’s got the tricks!”
Fellow ex-England ace Phil Tufnell added: “Very nice, positive stride, high elbow, head over the ball, very good.”

He also said: “Gary’s got a little bit of a Brian Lara high backlift there!”
Neville had his say too, noting: “Someone told me, get the (bat high) as I used to have a problem going across the lines at times!”
Back on the football pitch, Neville has taken aim at new Man United striker Benjamin Sesko.
Claiming the forward is yet to live up to his £80million price tag, Neville said:
“I’m no further forward with him, the jury’s still out.
“He’s miles off it compared to the other forwards United brought in, like Cunha and Mbeumo.
“He looks awkward, his touch was off a few times when balls went over the top.
“For £80m, yes he’s young and still settling but you want to see something more.”
