Eric Chelle’s side will be up against Valery Karpin’s side in a friendly at the Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow, on Friday.
The two countries will be meeting for the first time at senior level.
The Super Eagles are unbeaten in their last four outings.
Troost-Ekong said they are ready for battle.
“This is not my first time in Moscow and Russia; I have already played in Krasnodar and Volgograd and other cities in 2018,”; he told a press conference.
