The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the 2019 and 2023 elections for the Ringim/Taura Federal Constituency, Hon. Gambo Ibrahim Gujungu, has switched allegiance to the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) along with his supporters.
