The statement reads, “Inna lillahi wa inna illaehi raajiuun. With heavy hearts but in total submission to the will of Allah, I have been instructed by the Chief Imam to announce the passing of a vital member of our community, Prof. Abdulganiy Raji.
“His janazah will take place in Ogbomoso tomorrow. The UIMC team will depart the campus for the burial at 6:30 AM tomorrow, in shaa Allah. May Allah grant him al-jannah fridaos. Aamin.”
