Former Chelsea midfielder, Faustino Anjorin is ready to switch nationality from England to Nigeria, DAILY POST reports.

Anjorin was born in England to Nigerian father, and is still eligible to represent both countries.

The 23-year-old has represented England at three age-group levels in the past.

The versatile midfielder, who currently plays for Serie A club, Empoli has however been snubbed at full international level by England.

That has, however, opened the door for him to play for Nigeria.

According to Soccernitty gritty, Anjorin recently met Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle.

The player is now willing to switch allegiance after a fruitful discussion with Chelle.
