Socialite Cubana Chief Priest has issued a serious warning to President Bola Tinubu regarding the conviction and sentencing of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

He cautioned that the upcoming 2027 election could present a major challenge for the President in the South-East region if Kanu is not released.

Cubana Chief Priest made this statement shortly after the Federal High Court in Abuja announced its decision on Kanu’s case, sentencing the IPOB leader to life imprisonment.

He noted that the political climate in the region has become increasingly tense and is heavily influenced by Kanu’s situation.

In an extensive Instagram post, the businessman expressed his frustration, stating that resentment in the South-East is growing and that support for the President is already declining.

“President @officialasiwajubat, as long as MNK remains incarcerated, you will not receive even 10,000 votes in the South-East come 2027… Only the release of MNK can save you,” he stated.

Cubana Chief Priest also criticized South-East ministers, accusing them of failing to communicate the true sentiments of the people to the President.

He asserted that none of them possesses the political clout needed to regain public trust.

He further directed his warning to Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma, urging him to take action and advocate for Kanu’s release.

According to him, the governor’s achievements may be overshadowed if this issue is not addressed.

“To My Father @he_hopeuzodimma… Appeal this judgment & rectify it or prepare to leave the Villa come 2027… The South-East belongs to MNK,” he added.
