FIFA Club World Cup: Arsenal’s Jorginho to play tournament with new club

Outgoing Arsenal midfielder, Jorginho, will play in the FIFA Club World Cup as Flamengo player.

According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, this is coming after the Italian midfielder received the green light from Arsenal.

with Flamengo that will see him remain at the club until 2028.

He will join the Brazilian club as a free agent from the Gunners at the end of the season.

The 33-year-old joined Chelsea from Serie A side Napoli in 2018.

However, he left the Blues after five years at Stamford Bridge, to switch to Arsenal in 2023.

Jorginho has played for Hellas Verona and Napoli in the past.

DAILY reports that the FIFA Club World Cup will begin on 14 June and end on 13 July.
