THE capacity of every World Cup stadium has appeared to change ahead of the opening ceremony.
The finally kicks off tonight as 48 teams prepare to battle for the iconic gold trophy.

This year, the tournament will take place across Mexico, the United States and Canada.
has selected 16 stadiums for the World Cup – eleven of which are in the US.
However, the total capacity of each has seemingly changed ahead of the tournament.
Most of the stadiums now have a larger capacity, with BC Place in Vancouver increasing by 3,676 seats.
The – which hosts the – has increased by 3,058 seats.
And the New York New Jersey Stadium – which hosts the final – now has 2,087 more seats available.
While 14 of the 16 stadiums have a higher capacity, two grounds have seen theirs reduced.
The total number of available seats at the San Francisco Bay Area Stadium was expected to be 69,391 but that has now been cut by 564 to 68,827 seats.
Furthermore, the total capacity of Toronto Stadium has been cut by 1,279 to 43,036 seats.
The Azteca Stadium – also known as the Mexico City Stadium – will host the opening match of the World Cup today.
It is now the stadium with the highest capacity following the change, taking it above the New York New Jersey Stadium.
