The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has stated that the administration of President Bola Tinubu will not be able to address every development project in the nation's capital.

Wike made this remark on Friday during a media briefing, responding to comments made by former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

According to DAILY POST, Obi criticized the government regarding the poor state of public schools in the capital.

During a visit to the LEA Primary School in Kapwa, Abuja, alongside Paul, Obi expressed his shock at discovering classrooms lacking chairs and toilets—conditions that he believes no responsible nation should accept.

In response, Wike stated, “I heard him mention that public schools are in a state of disrepair throughout the Federal Capital Territory.

“We cannot address every issue related to development. Government is a continuum. There have been several administrations before us, and there will be others after us.”
