FCT: Wike Declares Fayose as His Younger Brother

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, referred to the former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, as his elder brother on Thursday.

Wike made this statement during the inauguration ceremony for the construction of Collector Road CN2 (Emmanuel I. Ogala Street), which connects Arterial N16 (Yemi Osinbajo Way) to N20 (Wole Soyinka Way), including road ILS 5 within the Katampe District.

Wike stated: “Fayose is my younger brother, and I am always pleased whenever he joins to observe what his elder brother is accomplishing.”

Both Fayose and Wike are affiliated with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and were part of the G-5 Integrity Group.

This group opposed the success of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar in the 2023 presidential election.
