FANS watching Team GB’s efforts to win another gold medal at the Winter Olympics have fumed about the BBC’s decision to change channels in the middle of the event.

The broadcaster was showing the mixed skeleton event on Two, with the in Milano Cortina.

But at 6pm it switched over to BBC One while came on.

The change is only scheduled to last for one hour before it once again moves back to BBC Two at 7pm.

One fan blasted the change of channels as “pointless and annoying”.

A second said: “Why’s it so hard for the BBC to make the switches between One and Two seamless for Olympics & .”

A third added: “BBC Winter Olympic coverage is a farce.”

Another said: “BC what is the point in switching to BBC1 at 6pm, when it’s scheduled to switch back to BBC2 at 7pm? Just put Countryfile on 1! What’s the point in changing channel for an hour?”

A fifth said: “Why on earth can’t the BBC just put the sodding Winter Olympics on one channel ?”
