Sherrock’s results mean that Beau Greaves, 22, is the only female player on the professional tour in 2026.
Greaves earned her spot by winning her card on the Development Tour, while Sherrock has continued to face challenges.
The 31-year-old was defeated by Dave Chisnall 3-0 in the first round last month before attending Q School.
At Q School, she suffered losses to Steve Lennon (6-4 on Thursday), Shaun Carroll (6-3 on Friday), Daryl Hunt (6-5 on Saturday), and Andrew Cass (6-1 on Sunday).
Dubbed the Queen of the Palace in 2019 after victories over Ted Evetts and Mensur Suljovic, Sherrock lost in the first round each day, averaging only 65 against Cass.
On a brighter note, fellow Brit Charlie Manby, 20, has achieved success.
Manby will now hold the card for two years and is eligible to compete in PDC ProTour events.
This achievement follows his fourth-round appearance at the world championships, where he lost to the eventual finalist Gian van Veen .
As for Sherrock, she has been battling fitness issues.
The former hairdresser has previously dealt with kidney problems that required medication and faced illness in 2024 following the birth of her son, Rory.
She had hoped to overcome these challenges, stating: “I’m not going to struggle next year.
“Hopefully, I can just move forward and regain the form I had five or six years ago.
“I feel 100 percent better than I did. I’m not going to jinx anything.
“I definitely feel more energetic, positive about myself, and less fatigued.
“My darts are gradually returning to normal, so I have no reason to be unhappy. I feel very content at the moment.
“My game is improving, which gives me a bit more confidence as I head into the world championships.”
