Jared Anderson has been forced out of his showdown with Solomon Dacres due to a torn bicep.
The American’s injury has delayed his debut with Queensberry Promotions, who announced the cancellation of his clash with Brit Dacres on social media on Sunday.
They wrote on Instagram and X: “Due to an injury sustained in camp, Jared Anderson is out of his scheduled bout with Solomon Dacres on the Don’t Blink card in Manchester on 9th May.
“A replacement co-main fight will be announced tomorrow, and we look forward to Jared making his Queensberry debut later this year.”
Anderson, 26, has yet to issue a statement on his unfortunate withdrawal from the fight.

But a crestfallen Dacres took to his Instagram story to express his devastation at the fight falling through.
Along with two sad-sighing emojis, he wrote: “Put everything into this camp.
“Hopefully, I can still get a chance to fight.”
Anderson hasn’t fought since his unanimous decision win over Marios Kollias last February, a win which saw him bounce back from his spectacular KO loss to Martin Bakole in August 2024.
Former English heavyweight champion Dacres, meanwhile, was victorious in his last outing against Vladyslav Sirenko last July,
