GIANNI INFANTINO and Fifa have come under fire again as The FA slam his controversial World Cup plot and demand a review.

The Fifa president on the plans to transfer control of top tournaments like the World Cup to a new subsidiary, followed by the sale of a substantial portion of the business.

The FA had previously as they alerted everyone to lack of details and answers provided.

On August 1, the FA spokesperson said: “We fully support UEFA’s position.

“It is time for a full and robust review of FIFA’s leadership and governance to ensure that the global game is run transparently, for the benefit of all 211 member nations and with the long – term stewardship of football at its heart.”

Initially, the world’s governing football body planned to sell minority, non-controlling shares in FFE, with the aims of raising £3.1billion – which the organisation valued at around £15bn.

And in a majorly bold mistep, Infantino offered £30million to each of the nations that got on side.

UEFA were quick to condemn the plans as they pointed to .

Federations everywhere stepped up to call Infantino and Fifa out, with many stating plans to boycott tournaments.

Even Infantino’s senior advisor , calling the whole thing a “bad deal for the game”.

Since then UEFA has publicly announced that they have in Infantino’s Fifa reign.

They have also accused Infantino of not delivering on promises as they quoted a speech he gave when campaigning to become Fifa president in 2016.

The whole debacle has piled pressure on Infantino before he seeks re-election for a fourth term as president at the Fifa Congress in March.
