EXO’s Kai’s first comeback in two years is off to a promising start!
On April 21 at 6 p.m. KST, Kai made his long-awaited return with his new solo mini album “Wait On Me”; and its of the same name. Immediately upon its release, the mini album shot to the top of iTunes charts in various countries around the world.
By the morning of April 22 KST, “Wait On Me”; had already hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least 23 different regions, including Argentina, Brazil, Brunei, Fiji, France, Honduras, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Mexico, Oman, Paraguay, Peru, the Philippines, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, and Vietnam.
“Wait On Me”; also topped both QQ Music’s digital album sales chart in China.
Meanwhile, “1999”; reached No. 1 on Bugs’ realtime chart in Korea.
