A MONSTER who butchered his girlfriend before severing her head has been caged for more than 20 years.
Ewan Methven, 27, brutally killed his girlfriend Phoenix Spencer-Horn, at a flat in East Kilbride last November.
The brute stabbed Phoenix to death at the Lanarkshire flat.
She was knifed 20 times during his vicious attack.
He then severed her head and tried to dismember her while on a cocaine and porn binge.
He has been handed a life sentence of 23 years for the murder.
