Human rights activist, Aisha Yesufu has suggested that the South-East is being targeted.

The statement came after Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, Joints Admission and Matriculation Board, which affected the performance of students during the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

The Board had claimed that of the 1.9 million candidates who sat the UTME, over 1.5 million reportedly scored below 200 out of the maximum 400 marks, raising concerns across the education sector.

However, JAMB Registrar, 379,997 candidates in the five states of the South-East were affected, saying they would retake the examination.

But in a post on X, Yesufu maintained that even the dead can see that the Igbos are been targeted.

She further attached the statistics of the failure to back up her claims.
