Former Manchester United defender, Paul Parker has backed the Red Devils to win the UEFA Europa League this season.
Parker believes Ruben Amorim’s side have a good chance to lift the Europe’s second top-flight competition.
Man United are in the semi-final of the Europa League this term.
The Premier League club will take on Spanish side Athletic Club in the last-4 first leg tie on Thursday night.
United head to the semi-final stage after eliminating French Ligue 1 club Lyon from the Europa League quarter-final stage last month.
“When you look at it, United have been awful this season, but if they were to win it [the Europa League] â there would be no argument. They’d have a bit of silverware,”; Parker said via iGaming as quoted by Metro UK.
“At this moment in time, you have to say United have a good chance of winning it [the Europa League],”; he said.
The kick-off time for the match is 8 pm, Nigerian time.
