Published on June 18, 2025 at 07:23 AM

At least six countries have qualified for the quarter-finals of the ongoing European Under-21 Championship in Slovakia.

This follows the conclusion of Tuesday’s Euro U-21 group stage fixtures.

France and Portugal became the latest countries to advance to the last-8 stage after recording victories against Poland and Georgia, respectively.

France defeated Poland 4-1, while Portugal won 4-0 against Georgia.

Both countries have now joined the likes of Spain, Italy, Denmark and Germany in the last-8.

The remaining two teams to join Germany, Portugal, France, Denmark, Spain and Italy in the last-8 will be confirmed after the conclusion of the final group stage fixtures on Wednesday.

DAILY POST reports that the quarter-finals stage will take place on 21 and 22 of June and only four teams will progress to the semi-final.
