Renowned civil rights attorney Lisa Bloom has handled numerous cases against predators throughout her career.

However, few cases disturb her as much as this one.

For decades, Ms. Bloom has established a strong reputation advocating for women against powerful men.

She has successfully assisted numerous victims of sexual harassment and assault in obtaining justice, often resulting in substantial compensation.

Her notable achievements include suing Bill Cosby, securing the termination of TV anchor Bill O’Reilly from Fox News, and representing actress Mischa Barton in a revenge porn case.

However, when she first received a call from one of Epstein’s victims, Ms. Bloom was unaware of the extent of the depravity she would encounter.

“Jeffrey Epstein is one of the most prolific predators we have ever seen,” Ms. Bloom told The Sun.

“It truly shocks the conscience. It’s incredibly disturbing.”

Epstein – but Ms. Bloom believes there are other “despicable, wealthy men” who have avoided prosecution for their connections with him.

She also conveyed her message to Epstein’s long-time friend Prince Andrew , who has failed to disclose to authorities what he knows about the disgraced financier's actions.

Ms. Bloom represents 11 of Epstein’s victims, who courageously reached out after his second arrest.

She stated: “I realized that they felt safer once he was arrested and incarcerated, facing criminal charges.

“That’s when victims who had kept their stories secret for a long time started contacting me.

“We evaluated the cases as we would any case – we have a comprehensive vetting process and ultimately accepted 11 cases.”

Disturbingly, Epstein was arrested in July 2019 and charged with sex trafficking minors and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of minors.

Meanwhile, Ms. Bloom and her small team were preparing a civil case against him.

She remarked: “We initiated a labor-intensive process of gathering evidence, seeking witnesses, and encouraging people to speak with us.

“We also conducted extensive legal research to assess their claims. We needed to determine when and where events occurred.”

However, while awaiting trial, the cowardly billionaire was found dead in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center.

“That was a significant shock to my clients,” Ms. Bloom said.

“They experienced a range of emotions about it. Some felt relieved, thinking they no longer had to fear him. They were all very much afraid of him.

“Others felt disappointed that the prison system had not monitored him more closely, depriving them of the chance for justice.”

Despite Epstein’s death, Ms. Bloom was able to continue her clients' cases against his estate, which was valued at around $500 million.

Attorneys for the estate established a compensation fund for his victims, which distributed approximately $121 million to 150 individuals, including Ms. Bloom’s clients.

The esteemed attorney then fought on behalf of her clients against JPMorgan after it was revealed that the banking giant had ignored internal warnings about Epstein due to his status as a valuable customer.
