AN INVESTIGATION into allegations of illegal activity at Jeffrey Epstein’s remote New Mexico hideaway has been reopened.

New Mexico’s attorney general announced the reopened investigation into Zorro Ranch on Thursday after new FBI evidence was unearthed.

The initial case was closed in 2019 by federal prosecutors in New York, but state prosecutors now have more questions.

The federal case comes after lawmakers launched a probe into on the desert estate.

Epstein’s 7,600-acre Zorro Ranch is at the centre of a unanimous vote by New Mexico’s House of Representatives to create a “truth commission”.
