Former Manchester United star, Paul Parker has slammed Mason Mount, saying there is nothing special about the England star.
He said that the former Chelsea is one of the players who does not disturb defenders by crashing into the box.
The Englishman told Tribal Football that no Red Devils player is crashing into the box and creating a problem for the opponents.
He said, “No one goes in the box anymore. We signed Mason Mount for £55m, just run in the box, you’re meant to be a modern-day David Platt, that’s meant to be your strength!
“You’re not a great footballer as such, just someone who made their name at Chelsea by being that second striker in the box.”;
Mason Mount, a product of Chelsea youth team, joined Manchester United from Stamford Bridge two seasons ago but has not made any impact on the struggling Red Devils team.
Parker wants the England international to do better next season or leave the club.
