Former Manchester United captain, Roy Keane, has described as irritating, the way and manner Liverpool acted after winning the Premier League title.
He said Reds did not show class, expressing his displeasure over the attitude displayed by Arne Slot’s team.
Speaking on the Stick to Football podcast, the former Red Devils skipper pointed out that since being crowned champions, the Reds no longer play football.
Liverpool were confirmed the title winners for the 2024-25 season on April 27 and since then, they have failed to win single game in the Premier League.
The Reds drew 2-2 with Arsenal after failing to a 2-1 defeat to Chelsea, and were beaten by Brighton.
Manager Slot appears to be using the remaining games to try some of his reserve-bench players in order to give them some minutes.
“Liverpool have switched off – they’re irritating me. It doesn’t matter [that they’ve won the league], but the fringe players and the B team are coming in – what kind of message is that?
“I’m thinking, come on – show a bit of class.
“Salah scores a goal, and he’s taking pictures – the game’s still on. Liven up a little bit!”;;
Liverpool will face Crystal Palace at Anfield in their final game of the season.
