Erling Haaland’s father, Alf-Inge has explained why his son chose Manchester City over the likes of Chelsea, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona.
Haaland joined Man City from Borussia Dortmund in the summer transfer window.
Before his move to Pep Guardiola’s side, the Norway international had drawn interest from many top European clubs.
Explaining the decision to join Man City ahead of other teams, Alfie told The Big Decision Haaland documentary: “On our list, I think City is the best team.
“[Bayern] Munich is number two. We have Real Madrid as number three, and Paris Saint-Germain as number four.
“We also have some English teams other than City who are quite good . . . Liverpool and Chelsea. Also, there is Barcelona. They’re sort of in the same row.”
