Manchester United are planning to sign another midfielder despite agreeing a transfer for Atalanta’s Ederson.

The Red Devils have struck a deal for Ederson worth €45m with add-ons included.

The Brazilian is expected to sign a four-year deal at Old Trafford.

However, according to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, United manager Michael Carrick is eyeing another player in midfield.

This is because Manuel Ugarte and Casemiro will leave this summer.

Romano wrote on X: “Éderson will only be the first midfield signing at

Man United, at least another one has been planned.

“Casemiro and Ugarte to leave so #MUFC will add one more, could be two under certain conditions.”
