EPL: Tottenham coach, Gian Piero Ventrone dies at 61

Tottenham Hotspur fitness coach, Gian Piero Ventrone, has passed on aged 61.

The sad news was confirmed by the Premier League club on Thursday.

Ventrone joined the club in November 2021 and was a key member of Antonio Conte’s backroom staff.

“We are devastated to announce that fitness coach Gian Piero Ventrone has passed away,”; a statement from Tottenham said.

It added that “he will be greatly missed by everyone at the club and our thoughts are with his family and friends at this impossibly sad time.”;

Ventrone previously worked at Juventus, Catania, JS Suning, GZ Evergrande, and AC Ajaccio.
