Chelsea boss, Enzo Maresca has categorically stated that three of his players – Jorrel Hato, Jamie Gittens and Estevao – still needs to adapt in the English Premier League.
Maresca also labelled the likes of , Joao Pedro, Estevao, Liam Delap, Gittens and Hato as fantastic players.
The Italian spoke at his post-match interview after Chelsea’s Premier League 5-1 win against West Ham United on Friday night.
Maresca’s side had won the encounter against the Hammers at the London Stadium, thanks to goals from Pedro, Neto, Enzo Fernandez, Trevoh Chalobah and Moises Caicedo.
Lucas Paqueta, however, scored an early wonder goal for the home team during the encounter.
Speaking to reporters at his post-match press, Maresca said: “Joao Pedro, Liam, Estevao, Jamie Gittens are all fantastic players.
“You can see that Liam and probably Joao are a little bit more ahead of the rest, but the reason why is that they were already here in England.
“Jamie needs to adapt a little bit, Estevao needs to adapt, Hato, as well, needs time to adapt.”
