Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag has put Jude Bellingham ahead of Frenkie de Jong at the top of his midfield shortlist.
De Jong was the Red Devils’ top target for the summer window. But they were unable to convince the Dutchman to leave Barcelona.
Instead, United went on to complete a £70million deal to sign Casemiro from Real Madrid.
Ten Hag remains keen on strengthening his midfield options even more at the end of the season.
According to the Daily Mirror, Ten Hag wants the club to prioritise a move for 19-year-old Bellingham next summer.
The United boss has been promised even more funds to bolster his squad and the decision over Bellingham was made by him and the clubâs football director John Murtough.
