EPL: Man Utd’s fans not allowed to print Ronaldo, Beckham on their shirts

Manchester United supporters will be barred from printing will not be allowed to print the names of three of the club’s biggest legends on the back of their shirts, Goal reports.

They are Cristiano Ronaldo, David Beckham and Eric Cantona.

According to the Manchester Evening News, United do not own the trademark to any of the trio of former players’ names.

This means they are not licensed to print them on the back of shirts.

The report also claims that just like United, Real Madrid also do not have the rights to print the legendary Ronaldo’s name either.

With the recent craze around retro football shirts, United fans are unhappy about not being able to print the names of three of the club’s legendary no.7 on the back of their jerseys.
