Manchester City defender, Kyle Walker has received a two-year contract to join the club’s Premier League rival Burnley this summer transfer window.

Sky Sports News reports on Friday that the 35-year-old right-back is all set to join Burnley for £5million.

The report added that Walker has been having a medical today with Burnley and all being well, a formal announcement is expected soon.

Walker spent the second half of last season on loan at AC Milan.

The Englishman had fallen out of favour at the Etihad under manager Pep Guardiola.

However, AC Milan opted against making his deal permanent.

Walker then returned to City this summer after the conclusion of the last season and he is now set to join Burnley who were promoted to the Premier League.
