Former England manager, Sven-Goran Eriksson, has described Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland, as an outstanding player with the potential to become ‘one of the greatest players ever’.
The Norwegian striker has netted 20 goals in just 13 games in all competitions with City trailing Arsenal in the Premier League table.
‘If he goes on like this, Erling Haaland will be the top scorer,’ the 74-year-old told OLBG.
“Haaland is a great player, and is outstanding in the box.”
He went further to note that the 22-year-old is playing for the right team under Pep Guardiola.
“He’s physically strong, quick, a good header of the ball and finisher too, he has everything.”
The veteran manager said that if Norway international remains calm and does noy get injured “he’ll be one of the greatest ever.”
“Of course, he won’t win a World Cup with Norway but he will win a lot of titles, especially if he stays at Manchester City,” Eriksson added.
