Fulham's head coach, Marco Silva, has stated that Samuel Chukwueze needs to continue working hard to secure a permanent position at the club, according to DAILY POST.
Chukwueze is currently on loan at Fulham from the Serie A powerhouse AC Milan.
The agreement includes an option to purchase for approximately €23 million.
The Nigerian international has not yet made a start in a Premier League match since joining Craven Cottage.
Chukwueze has provided two assists in five league appearances for the team.
Silva has urged the winger to demonstrate greater consistency and to put in the effort during training.
“It's too early to make a final judgment, but we all acknowledge the talent that Chukwueze possesses,” Silva commented ahead of the upcoming London derby against Tottenham Hotspur.
“We are looking for consistency in his performance, commitment to training every single day, and adapting to the physical demands of the Premier League.”
