JOHN STONES is set to miss out on Thomas Tuchel’s latest England squad after Inter confirmed the defender has suffered a thigh injury.
Three Lions boss Tuchel is due to name his first squad since the World Cup on Friday at 10am, with Stones now facing a race against time to recover from the setback.

Inter confirmed on Thursday morning that the 32-year-old has suffered a muscle strain to the flexor muscles in his left thigh.
The Italian giants said Stones underwent clinical and diagnostic tests at the Istituto Humanitas in Rozzano, with his condition set to be reassessed over the coming days.
