Spence went for medical checks after the match and it was discovered that he had in fact broken his jaw in the challenge.
The Athletic claim that despite the injury, Spence WILL START for Spurs against Everton on the final day of the Premier League season.

The news of Spence’s mangled mandible comes just a day before ‘s squad for this summer‘s World Cup is announced.
