England manager, Thomas Tuchel, has excluded the duo of Cole Palmer (Chelsea) and Phil Foden (Manchester City) from his squad to the 2026 World Cup.

Another major omission is Manchester United defender Harry Maguire.

Tuchel will officially announced his 26-man squad on Friday.

Foden was named in Tuchel’s previous squad in March, for the friendlies against Japan and Uruguay.

Palmer also started against Japan and Tuchel said both he and Foden “struggled to make an impact.”

Meanwhile, the BBC are reporting that Newcastle’s Dan Burn, Manchester City’s Nico O’Reilly, Arsenal’s Noni Madueke and Brentford’s Jordan Henderson are in line to be called-up.
