The 53,500-seat stadium is set to host the third match of the historic rivalry between the hosts and England.
This venue is the only one among five that includes beach balls on its list of “restricted or prohibited items.”
The ban was first implemented in 2006, when fans were prohibited from performing Mexican waves and bringing beach balls to foster a more positive atmosphere.
Australian cricket officials expressed concerns regarding the act of throwing, fearing it could lead to more hazardous items, such as glass bottles, being thrown alongside beach balls.
While The Ashes have consistently provided an electrifying atmosphere, this year's third match, scheduled from December 17 to 21, will have certain restrictions in place.
A representative for the Adelaide Oval stated: “Individuals are not permitted to bring the following items into Adelaide Oval unless authorized by AOSMA.
“Inflatable items including beach balls, containers, devices, or structures.
“Fans who do not comply with the Conditions of Entry will not be granted access.
“Fans who have been allowed entry but later fail to comply with the Conditions of Entry may be removed from Adelaide Oval without a refund of any entry fee.”
England is looking to recover from their defeat in the first Ashes Test.
Despite starting strong at 123-9 on the first day, the team lost by eight wickets after a disastrous second day in Perth.
The Second Test is set to commence on Thursday (Dec 4) in Brisbane.
