It is the last chance for boss Thomas Tuchel to see his players in action before their World Cup kicks off against Croatia on June 17.
But the match which is scheduled to start at 9pm GMT could be delayed due to heavy rain.
The downpour has left the pitch flooded and fans have been told to “take shelter” by a big screen message.
Lightning strikes have also been spotted in the area, which further emphasised the need for supporters to reach safety.
A weather warning has been issued in the area because of the adverse weather.
Locals have a belief that the friendly fixture will still go ahead but there could be delays if the conditions continue.
