EMMERDALE’S Victoria Sugden’s exit storyline has been revealed as actress Isabell Hodgins goes on maternity leave.
The actress has played Victoria for 20 years, taking over the role aged 12 in 2006.

Last year she announced that she and new husband Adam Whitehead are expecting their first baby just months after their wedding.
And now her exit storyline is beginning to play out as Isabel prepares to go on maternity leave.
Viewers know that as he tried to kidnap her during the Corriedale crossover event.
She was then blackmailed by Joe Tate who has forced her and Robert to sign over their share of the farm to them to keep Victoria out of prison.
But the guilt-stricken mum of one has struggled to cope in the aftermath of what she’s done.
As she edges closer to a breakdown – will she confess all and end up going to prison and follow in brother Robert’s footsteps?
Or will she think the net is closing in on her and flee like brother Andy?
Victoria’s dramatic exit is set to play out in the spring before actress Isabel leaves the show.

She told the Mirror : “I will miss it. I love the people there, but I’ve worked there for 19 years, so I feel like I’ve done what I’ve wanted to do and been selfish with my career.
“Now, it’s time to devote my life to being a mum, that feels right to me.
“But there’s still FaceTime, so they won’t forget me!”
