In the short clip, Jeff, 55, is seen wearing a khaki shirt and glasses as he bobs his head along and plays some beats.

They wrote over it: “Cain Dingle on the 1’s and 2’s.”

Social media users couldn’t believe it was Jeff as they flocked to the comments section to share their thoughts.

One wrote: “Omg no way,” and another gushed: “The man’s a legend – my role model.”

Somebody else commented: “A true icon,” while yet another said: “No way man, that’s quality.”

A fifth fan expressed: “No way, I didn’t know this.”

Jeff has been working as a DJ prior to joining Emmerdale and does it in conjunction with his acting role.

Earlier this year, he opened up about his surprising second career while appearing on the Another Day Another Collar podcast.

He admitted: “I DJ a lot, that’s been my out of work acting job for years. I DJed for many years at a club in Manchester called the Rock ‘N’ Roll bar.

“It [was] my saviour really, in terms of being a young actor, because I didn’t have to sign on.

“I could earn decent money by DJing at this nightclub on a Friday night and I was lucky enough to… over that period, we had guests every week. It was quite a well-known club in Manchester.”

The legendary actor went on to address the misconceptions about him being able to balance out his careers.

He added: “I think people sometimes think that I’m a DJ because it’s like, ‘Oh you’re doing that because you’re an actor and you’re trading off the back of you being an actor’.

“It’s like no, actually, I’ve done this forever, and I’ve always been into music and music was always a big passion for me.”

Jeff was cast as bad boy in the soap back in 2000 and was on the show for six years before quitting to pursue other projects.

The door was left open for him to return and after a three-year break, he returned in 2009.

Over the last 16 years in the role, he’s been nominated for Best Actor at The three times.

Jeff is married to Emmerdale co-star , who plays Rhona Goskirk, in real-life after they tied the knot back in 2003.

They met at a drama school in Manchester in the 90s, and she joined the soap a year after he did.

The husband and wife share two children together, Violet and Stan.

Their on-screen characters have had limited interactions over the years, with them being involved in separate storylines.

During an appearance on in 2022, she expressed: “It just means we sort of have a separate existence at work and I think we both appreciate that and like that.

“We often do line learnings together but actually this time, what has just been amazing is taking the weight off at home.

“We have two kids, dogs and an allotment so [Jeff] is just managing that and he is about to get busy as I quieten down so we will swap the baton there.”
