A chieftain of the New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP, Buba Galadima, has asked the Senate not to provoke Nigerians over the Electoral Act.
Speaking during an interview on Arise Television’s ‘Morning Show’ on Thursday, Galadima said only fraudulent people will be against the real-time electronic transmission of election results.
He said that the Senators were just wise by half and they thought that everybody is deaf, dumb and unintelligent like they were.
“Why should they tell us we should do real-time electronically and at the same time said another thing? Because they came under pressure?
“If that bill is passed as it is, the INEC will be directed under the table to only use form EC8 so that they could rig the election and come back to their various various positions.
“They should not provoke us.They should know that we will know all this.
“It is either electronic transfer of election results or nothing. The Senate cannot be wise by half and they should be told so,” he said.
