The Zamfara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, has deployed 590 personnel for the security of lives and properties in the state during Eid-el-Fitr.
This was contained in a statement issued by the spokesman of the command, ASCII Umar Mohammad M., and made available to newsmen in Gusau, the state capital.
According to the statement, the Commandant, Sani Mustapha, confirmed the deployment of officers to various Eid grounds across the fourteen local government areas of the state to ensure peace throughout the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations.
Commandant Mustapha assured the public of the consistency and professionalism of NSCDC operatives in the state during the celebrations and beyond.
