EDDIE HOWE has parted ways with Newcastle United with immediate effect after a memorable five-year tenure.

Who is Eddie Howe?
was most recently the manager of , and he was born on November 29, 1977 in Buckinghamshire.
He was raised by a single mother, Anne, who he describes as a hardworking parent who raised him and his siblings.
Anne sadly passed away in 2012.
Howe’s life has always been sport-focused, he was a top cricketer at age 14 and started playing football for in 1994, making his senior debut with the team in 1995.
He was a key defender before injuries led to early retirement at 29 in 2007.
Howe immediately moved into coaching the reserve squad at Bournemouth before managing the first-team in two stints – from December 2008 to January 2011 and from October 2012 to August 2020.

He eventually replaced as Newcastle manager in November 2021, steering the club out of a relegation battle to a mid-table finish.
Howe transformed the Magpies into top-four contenders, securing Champions League qualification in both 2023 and 2025.
His crowning achievement came in March 2025, when he led Newcastle to a 2–1 final victory over Liverpool, ending a 70-year wait for a major domestic trophy.
His tenure came to an end in July 2026 following a tough 2025–26 league campaign where the club finished 12th, combined with growing frustration over key player departures during the summer transfer window.
Who is Eddie Howe’s wife Vicki?
Vicki Howe keeps a low public profile, intentionally avoiding the spotlight to focus on family life.
The couple met during Eddie’s playing career at Bournemouth and have three sons: Harry, Rocky, and Theo.
When Eddie was appointed Newcastle manager in late 2021, he initially lived in a hotel while Vicki managed the family home on the south coast before moving the family north to reunite.
Since settling in Northumberland, Vicki and Eddie are regularly seen supporting their eldest two sons at local grassroots youth football matches across the North East.
The family fully embraced life in Tyneside during Eddie’s managerial stint, with the children even picking up local Geordie phrases.
Eddie told the BBC: “I asked my youngest to do something yesterday and his answer was: ‘Howay dad!’ I always have a little second glance and check their language.
“It’s brilliant that they’re fully immersed in the Newcastle way of life, the language, the way of thinking.
“It’s such a great area with such positive, driven and motivated people. I’m very proud that they are going to be adopted Geordies.”
