EASTENDERS viewers have branded last night’s episode the “dumbest ever” after spotting numerous plot holes.

Billy Mitchell was holed up in cousin Phil’s gym after Bea Pollard’s vendetta to break-up his relationship with wife Honey.

The recent arrival to the Square, played by Ronni Ancona, is hellbent on tearing Billy apart and is doing everything in her power to smear him, from producing fake AI recordings to frame Billy with having an affair and building up debt in Honey’s name.

Despite all of this, Honey isn’t fully convinced of her man’s guilt and tried to get to the bottom of all the evidence Bea had given her.

However, fans of the show felt last night’s episode was poorly executed and Billy, in particular, was careless considering he was desperately trying to stay hidden.

One viewer wrote on Reddit: “This had to be the dumbest episode of EastEnders I have ever seen. How Billy hid out in Phil’s gym at night (with the blinds wide open as he chats to Honey on the sofa) is beyond stupid and I was not aware that Bea had a car?

“She’s so poor. She was sleeping in the kebab shop but now she has a car? The only redeeming scene tonight was to see Tracy out from behind the bar in the actual DAYLIGHT with a small speaking part! Good for her!

“Maybe the writers can come up with something vaguely interesting regarding her life because we are sorely getting tired of the other storylines. Anyone else agree?”

Many others were in agreement.

One was surprised that Billy would leave a traceable trail given he had gone to ground.

They wrote: “That voicemail Billy left irritated me so much. He’s literally supposed to be in hiding! The show just keeps getting worse.”

While others questioned why Billy was so receptive to Honey, given her poor treatment of him which culminated in her kicking her man out of the house.

Another complained: “Genuinely the daftest thing I have watched.”

The penny did finally drop for Honey when she confronted Bea in a bid to resolve everything once and for all.

She was bundled into a car and realised furious Bea wasn’t a good friend after all, but unhinged and dangerous.
