CELEBS Go Dating star Tom Zanetti has penned a heartbreaking tribute following the death of his grandfather.
The show star, who works as a DJ and producer, praised his grandad John and told him “thank you for everything” in the raw message.

, 37, laid bare his emotions in a lengthy caption, accompanied by a series of sweet images and videos, and told of his mixed emotions.
He admitted he was “so sad” and John’s passing yet “really happy for you to sitting beside your wife, your brother Tom and our angels”.
Leeds-born Tom, who opened a Marbella restaurant this year, wrote: “Our Grandad John, you are finally reunited with your true love, our Nana Jackie.
“Even though you rarely shown it we all know how heart broken you felt for a long time, but through a new eye, a new legs, new heart valves and more haha you stayed with us as long as you could to be there for everyone else.

“You was like the bicentennial man and just kept going haha more new parts than my car hahah. So sad to realise you have finally left, but in a way really happy for you to sitting beside your wife, your brother Tom and our angels, whole again.
“I have been looking at our msgs on WhatsApp, how you facetimed me 17 times a day haha, how you unintentionally sent the funniest voicenotes and I been reading the sweetest msgs”.
Tom then recalled a funny moment where he bought his grandad a brand new TV, only for him to ask the businessman to take it back as he preferred his old one.
Tom wrapped his touching upload with the words: “So many years of beautiful memories, such a sweet, funny, and tough, but gentle giant of an Irish man.

“When I was being born in the hospital my mum n dads house was robbed, we came home and they had taken everything. So I spent the first few weeks of my life with you and Nana.
“We have always been very proud of you being our Grandad John. Rest well, thank you for everything and love you xxx”
During his stint on Celebs Go Dating in 2021, Tom also opened up on another heartbreaking loss.
He spoke for the first time about his girlfriend’s death in a car crash in 2010 .
aged just 20 after she lost control of a vehicle which then hit a tree.
She sadly died in hospital.
At the time, the DJ had been living in Belle Isle, nears Leeds, with Lizzie.
He revealed he eventually got through it and urged anyone going through a bereavement to ask for help.
