Desperate hunt for boy, 3, who vanished from village playground as cops ask locals to search their gardens and sheds

A DESPERATE hunt has been launched for a missing three-year-old boy who vanished from a village playground.

Noah was last seen at 3pm on Tuesday in Brantham, , as officers urge locals to search their gardens and sheds.

The child became separated from a relative after visiting the playground in Merriam Close.

Noah is reported to have run off down the alleyway beside the playground towards the new build housing estate, said.

The three-year-old is white with curly ginger hair and was wearing a white t-shirt with the TV character Bluey on, shorts and white trainers.

The reported that more than 100 people had joined the searches on Tuesday evening.

A Coastguard helicopter was seen circling the village, which is near the estuary of the River Stour.

Suffolk Constabulary has issued an urgent appeal for help to locate the missing three-year-old.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Emergency services are currently in Brantham conducting searches.

“Residents in the area are asked to check their gardens, sheds and outbuildings.”

A spokesperson for HM Coastguard said: “We are assisting Suffolk Constabulary with an incident at Brantham by sending an HM Coastguard helicopter and Coastguard Rescue Teams from Felixstowe and Holbrook.”
